ORGANIC FARMING

FARMERS ON THEIR OWN LAND

We operate in the Ērgļi Municipality—a place where our ancestors once farmed. We deeply appreciate the work our forefathers put into reclaiming farmland from the forests. This awareness motivates us to carry on what they started, which is why we clear each field of brush and keep it tidy.

Full-cycle organic farm

We grow all the feed needed for our farm—grain, hay, and silage—on our own fields. This allows us to be confident in the quality of the products we produce.

Raised on open, green pastures

Charolais cattle graze freely in the meadows of the “Ogres Valley” Nature Park in Ogre, which is part of the Natura 2000 network of protected natural areas of European significance. Originating in eastern France, this breed is known worldwide for its outstanding breeding potential and high-quality meat, which is the result of a healthy diet and free-range grazing.

Handcrafted in our own workshop

Our cattle are slaughtered at an organic slaughterhouse, and each cut of meat is hand-cut in our own workshop. We treat the animals with respect—we make careful use of every part so that nothing of value ends up in the trash. This is how we produce rarer but especially delicious cuts, which we invite you to try.

High Standards

Although our products are certified organic, we also conduct regular quality checks to ensure that the meat meets the highest standards. We know for certain that our meat does not contain any substances harmful to health—such as drug residues, pesticides, heavy metals, etc.—because we control the entire rearing and production cycle.
