Unwrap the steak. Thaw the flash-frozen cuts by immersing them in lukewarm water. Thanks to this freezing technology, the meat will taste as if it were freshly cut.
Prepare the seasonings: salt, pepper, olive oil, soft or melted butter, and two cloves of garlic.
Let the pork steak come to room temperature.
Once the meat has reached room temperature, pat it dry and season it with salt and pepper.
How do you cook a steak? Heat the pan and add olive oil.
Once the pan is thoroughly heated, carefully place the steak in it and cook for four minutes on each side.
While the first batch is baking, prepare the butter and rosemary mixture—stir finely chopped rosemary sprigs into the melted butter.
After four minutes have passed, turn the meat over and cook for another four minutes.
Once the other side is cooked and browned, spread the butter mixture over it, add a fresh sprig of rosemary and some garlic cloves to the pan. Cover and cook until the butter has completely melted.
While the meat is cooking under the lid, prepare the side dishes. We're going with pasta with porcini mushrooms.
When the pork is done, remove it from the pan and place it in a separate dish, cover it with foil, and let it rest for at least five minutes. Serve with side dishes.
Enjoy your meal!
